Club opening times

Last session: 15th December - FUN SESSION with games & prizes.

Club reopens: 5th January 2010.

Goshin Ju Jitsu is a Japanesse martial art. The literal translation for Goshin is “self–defence” and Ju Jitsu means “the gentle art”.

Although Leighton Buzzard Goshin Ju Jitsu club practice the art of ‘Combat and Self defence’ all of its practitioners fully appreciate that joining a new club or hobby involving strangers can often be a daunting prospect. After all we started at some point as well and fully understand.

We operate a fair class where safety is paramount. No student is expected to do anything that the teachers would not do or have done themselves. All students including new starters are given practical training programmes to suit their abilities. Beginners are not used as punch bags neither are any other students for that matter. In fact we recommend that new beginners come to the club to watch what we do and see why we do it.

If you are worried about this training environment with all of its locks, throws, punches and kicks – then please speak to us direct perhaps before joining or viewing the club.

Experience has told us that although Ju Jitsu is a fantastic art that we enjoy, we understand each person as an individual and you may not. You do have a choice.

We look forward to speaking to you so you can make up your own mind. We are here to help and support you in the art of Ju-Jitsu. If there are any queries regarding your training, please do not hesitate to contact one of the senseis.

Goshin Ju Jitsu is affiliated to the BJJA GB as well as the Sports Council and the Central Council for Sports and Recreation
